An Impressive Pretend Kitchen with Plenty of Features Assembled, this wooden kitchen features a fridge, oven, three-range stove area with knobs that click, a cutting board, and plenty of shelf space for your young chef to store kitchen staples. The overall look is bright and fun with non-gendered colors--red countertops and shelving, a blue fridge and oven, and blond wood panels along the sides. The dimensions are approximately 37 by 16-1/2 by 26 inches--an ideal size for younger kids.
Details--like the painted electric ranges constructed from wood, and the "stainless steel" handles, knobs, and sink fixtures--complete the look. The Cook's Corner Kitchen even comes with a cutting board and a working three-minute timer. The sink is removable, so it can also be used as a bowl or filled up for water play. Just make sure to clean up after playtime.
Sets the Stage for Imaginative Food Fun
Combined with other food or kitchen-related toys, this play set will provide a solid foundation for your child's imagination. Your little one can invent recipes, play restaurant, entertain "guests", or play house with this versatile kitchen. After playtime, your child can store food and cooking toys in the fridge, oven, and on the shelving.
Imaginative Play Encourages Learning
Both independent and guided pretend play is an essential part of child development. This kitchen's interactive parts, from its clicking knobs to swiveling faucet, will stoke your child's imagination. When combined with other accessories--such as toy foods--the set provides a way for parents to play with kids and teach them about food, nutrition, cooking, colors, counting, and more.
Quality Wood Construction and Easy Assembly
As with all of Melissa & Doug's products, this toy kitchen is made with non-toxic coatings and meets or exceeds US toy-testing standards. Hardware and special tools are included; you'll only need a slotted screwdriver and a Philips head screwdriver to get started.
This set will take several hours to put together, but with the detailed assembly guide, the process should be easy. The guide offers step-by-step written and visual instructions. Each step is clearly outlined on its own page and includes what hardware, tools, and components you'll need to complete that step. Each component is labeled with a letter and each piece of hardware is labeled with a number, so it will be easy to find what you need as you're building the kitchen.
